Gonzalo: It was suggested that we have a top (or top-ish) level Confluence page to collaborate on this specific area of the UI. It was also suggested that we have a template repository set up that people could contribute and browse for ideas. I will have the second one set up by the end of the week - a sakai running instance updated regularly to which contributors will have admin access as well as file system access to the /library/skins directory. Welcome any ideas about the process for that...

A WG has formed to restructure the markup of the portal (and the tools as much as possible) to give skin creators more flexibility and ease of use.
