  • It would be helpful if the project homepage had a prominent link to some screenshots and to a brief overview of the available collaboration tools. As is, the project is a bit opaque to a naive visitor.
  • A glossary for Sakai, an alphabetical list of terms important to understanding Sakai, such as "shibbolize", IMS, Maven goals, "CASify", SVN, QTI, HEAD, and the like. (Actually, this may already exist as Terms.)
  • A "things you always wanted to know about installing sakai, but were afraid to ask because everyone else on the list is three lightyears ahead of you."
  • "Top ten things that you don't know which, after installing Sakai and launchit it and trying to actually create and populate a course, you're gonna wish you knew"

Hi all, we are just building up our knowledge and experience with Sakai here at the University of Twente (The Netherlands). What would really speedup our efforts, would be some sort of thorough descriptions of the different tools that make up Sakai. We found a generic, very short, list of descriptions on http://www.sakaiproject.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=230&Itemid=473. But what we would like to have more detailed descriptions and evaluations of the tools.... Can anyone help us speeding up?

I'd like to have a category created for "User Support". An area that Sakai User Support people can document what they go through for others. Can we add this?
