A portfolio is a matrix that a school (for example, the school of education) would create with levels/rubrics-criteria/tasks that students must go through.
This requires the school to come up with the content and a web developer/designer to actually create, as a template for all students in
the school of education to use. This template would include forms, reports and other portfolio elements. This template is then available to all students through a special site.

Sakai supports portfolio creation, management and review with the Open Source Portfolio OSP tools.
