How can I add "Presentation" folder under "Resource"?

I saw help doc said "upload the file unto the Resource folder under the folder Presentation...".. problem for me is I did not see any folder called "Presentation" under "Resource". So even I upload a presentation into resource as a regular file, inside presentation tool it displays "Presentation folder does not exist in Resources".

John Leasia replies:

Assuming you are using Sakai 2.1:

  1. Go to the site
  2. Click on Resources
  3. Click the Add action next to the top level folder title
  4. Pick 'Empty Folder' from the 'Add Item Type' dropdown menu
  5. Then name the folder Presentations (the folder must be named exactly 'Presentations')

John Leasia adds:

Regarding the presentation tool ... a few things to watch out for. Make sure that the folder you create in Resources has the title 'Presentations', with the cap P and use that name when you create it (doesn't work to create a folder and then rename it to Presentations). Then create a subfolder in there that will be the name of your presenation, and in that subfolder put the individual image files.
