What Is PreferAble:

PreferAble is part of the TransformAble services. It is useful for users who want to customize Sakai's appearance to improve the readability and accessibility of content in Sakai. TransformAble consists of two parts:

1. PreferAble is a tool that allows users to specify customized appearance preferences. Once unstealthed, it can be added to My Workspace or other worksites.

2. StyleAble is a component that generates customized style sheets based on the user preferences specified in PreferAble. It allows users to control the overall appearance of the site, including the font size, face, foreground colour, background colour, highlight colour, and link appearance. StyleAble is integrated into the new velocity portal.

What is TransformAble

TransformAble is being developed by the Adaptive Technology Resource Centre at the University of Toronto.

How To Install/Configure It:

To activate StyleAble, you will need to set

Known Issues:

SAK-8529 Link colour sometimes overridden
SAK-8527 Licenses need to be changed to ECL
SAK-8528 Help files needed
SAK-8530 Warnings occur on tool invocation

These issues will be fixed by code freeze.
