Sakai Accessibility--2.2 and beyond

Mike Elledge, Gonzalo Silverio, Colin Clark (U Toronto)

Thursday
10:15 am - 11:15 am
Room: Grand C

Session Abstract

We will review Sakai's accessibility requirements, compliance, issues, and future plans. We will also address emerging areas of interest including Ajax and University of Toronto's TransformAble content tool. Checklists for designers and developers will be illustrated via a screen reader program. A BOF on accessibility has also been scheduled.

Thanks everyone for attending the presentation and BOF. I've added the presentation slides and will post the notes to the BOF as soon as I have a chance. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me at elledge@msu.edu. And visit the Sakai Accessibility pages on Confluence: http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/2ACC/Home
