Diego del Blanco Orobitg Fernando Olivares Fernández

Wednesday
9:20 am - 10:00 am
Room: Grand B

Session Abstract

Since a few years ago there are new ideas related to include Artificial Intelligence in e-learning platforms, providing them with behaviours, help in decision making, etc. with the objective of improve the student learning process and teacher tasks in management and content creation.

In this presentation we want to introduce a new UPV project: we are planning the development of an intelligent assistant tool based in multiagent systems. This tool will ask Sakai about events and user actions and preferences and will response with advertisings, suggestions and advices. This assistant will try to go ahead user's needs and provide immediate solutions, giving the feeling of an intelligent support behind the screen.
In this session we will show the idea and basis of the assistant development, architecture, agents who are involved, desired functionalities, and other considerations with examples and simulations of use.
