How much detail do we need to transfer?
We won't know until we have some pratical experience moving stuff around.
Which interoperability needs are specific to OSP and which belong to Sakai as a whole?

What needs to be added to the requirements? How do we prioritize them?
Do we need to look at PESC's XML transcript as a format we support?
What does a useable mapping process and tool look like?
Medical technology may provide models. We should look at SNOMED and LOINC.
What should our near term milestones and deliverables be?
First priority should be to get a set of core elements out that are mapped to IMS ePortfolio. Small school just beginnning to adopt are likely to use these, even if it takes longer to work out mapping issues for larger schools. The next step should be to create an import/export tool. Once we have these in place and in use, we'll be able to influence future IMS work. Because of rapid adoption of standards in UK and Europe, we have a limited window.
Who wants to work on this? In which capacities?
Univeristy of Minnesota folks will continue to work with DePaul on core elements and associated XSDs. A draft will be lined from this site soon. No volunteers to work on the technical piece: We need to lobby the core team.
