  Filtering out external libraries in package explorer

  • This will help clean up the package explorer view in Eclipse
  1. Select the Package Explorer view in the Java perspective
  2. Click on the upside down triangle to access view settings
    Inside the red circle in the image
  3. Select Filters to access the view filters
  4. Check the box marked Libraries from external to hide all imported maven libraries
  5. Click OK to finish
